Kit 01 Design Task:
To design a hospital bed that assists with the care of a virus infected patient while protecting the medical staff who attend to them.
Tools for Schools has created ready-made design and development kits along with a framework that adheres to the Australian Design and Technologies Curriculum.
Each kit contains a hospital bed frame to be assembled and basic materials to assist the students with prototyping their design safely from home.
How it works:
> The Design Project Assignment documents are emailed to the teacher. The teacher can first make edits before distributing to students.
> Individual student satchels are sent to the school for distribution to the students
> Upon completion, the students submit their design folios to the teacher for marking.
> The teacher submits the student’s folio with the most &) ;innovative &) ; design to Tools for Schools for entry into the competition.
